No bones about it.

I had figured that getting pushed around the school playground was something of the past, something that only happened to kids with Chuck Taylors and suspenders. Growing up homeschooled, that was never a circumstance I had to deal with (only extreme physical abuse from my 300 pound brother). I was unaware that what still occurred was name calling in class. I was especially surprised to see bullying in an establishment of higher education, Butler County Community College.

What will be an even bigger surprise to you, my faithful followers, is that these kids were teasing yours truly.

The maturity level of young men and women in America today has declined dramatically- also their creativity. I had thought kids had been going above and beyond the call of mediocre school bullying and been jumping right into the new generation- Internet name calling. It is a vicious cycle of kids posting on each others blogs and facebook with messages of hate and discrimination. It had brought a whole new aspect of tearing down each others emotions and rubbing them straight into the ground- now that, I could handle. I came to the realization of grief and disappointment in my fellow classmates (as my extra nose cartilage was being made fun of), and I feel the call to do something about it. I want to rally the youth of El Dorado, and surrounding areas, to take up the calling of bringing teasing to the next level.

I have high hopes for us.
